*Welcome Back
OK – Today I’m going to talk about the front end, and the back end of an Internet Business. And I will illustrate the importance of building a list.
Too many people are busy driving traffic to web-pages like they’re throwing mud at the wall. As long as they throw enough, some will stick. In this, and the next, session I want to show you a more sustainable, more exciting, and vastly more profitable approach to Internet Marketing.
You can still throw mud at walls, but I want your wall to have an opening in it, like your funnel. You may not get all your mud pies into the opening of your funnel, but those which do, will then be in your back end… and as I’m going to show you, that’s where the money is.

Let me take a case study as an example…

Say you’re promoting an affiliate product and you’re using Pay Per Click advertising. OK – it costs money, but its the fastest way to get traffic.

*You’re an affiliate for a 197 dollar 5 part course teaching people the art of hypnosis.

OK your ad is up and running and here comes a potential customer.

She types in “Teach me to Hypnotize” and up come the results.

She clicks on your ad and goes to the sales page of the product you’re affiliated to.

*Does she buy?

*Does she click the order button?

Unlikely.

Very unlikely.

*In fact, for someone coming from a pay-per-click campaign straight to a sales page, there is less than a 2% chance of them buying.

* However, put a signup form in front.

* And give away something of value to your target audience

* And you can expect 30% or more to sign up…

to enter your funnel.

* When you do this, you’re doing what we call “Double-Qualifying” your buyers.

Not only have they clicked on the ad at the search engine, but they have also signed up to express their interest…

*And that makes them a great deal more likely to buy.

In fact, typically, offer pages presented to signups, straight after they have signed up in this way… especially if its a One Time Only offer, or has some urgency like that, will convert at around 10% or more.

*Which means you’ll sell more copies of your product by presenting it to fewer people.

*And, not only that,

but you will have them entering your funnel…

*And your list will grow.

*And Grow

*And Grow

*And Grow…!

*And each member on your list will receive your autoresponder messages.

*Building your relationship with them

* Day After Day

* Establishing yourself, or your company, as something they can trust.

*Until eventually, they buy…

*You should earn a minimum of $1 per subscriber, per month.

How?

*I’ll show you…

Lets say you’ve got a list of 5,000

* And you think they’ll like a product which sells at 100 dollars

* Commissions are set at 50% – typical for a digital product, so you’ll make 50 dollars per sale

* So you send an email to your list recommending they check it out.

20% will open your email

* Of those, 25% will click your affiliate link through to the product sales page.

* And, because they’ve come by personal recommendation, as much as 5% will buy

* So your earnings are from 13 sales. You get 50 dollars each, and the total is 650 dollars.

* Now then.. do that twice a week, or eight times a month, and you’ll have earned 5,200 dollars.

And remember, each email should have taken you no more than ten minutes to write.

And you can leave them in your autoresponder so they earn you money like clockwork, day after day.

This is the way of the automatic business.

But there’s more. Much more in the way of practical advice I can give you on how to generate and multiply with your own online automatic business…

So stay tuned.

And I’ll See you next time.

    Tim,

Great series indeed! thank You very much for these short 5 minutes with Tim series. Among the huge “Waste of my Time” incoming email offers that come into my email box on a daily basis, yours is a breath of fresh air and very informative. Thanks again! AND BY THE WAY… Love the GoldMail system! I use it every day!

Another good video! Thank you for including the example supporting the “$1 per subscriber, per month”. I’ve heard of the claim, but never heard how anyone calculated the figure. I’m looking forward to the next installment…

    Tim,

Thankfully, each video in the series has continued to improve. I wish we had the option of choosing to continue to the next video… instead of having to wait for our next email (especially if our email isn’t delivered).

Anyway, thanks again for the content… and am also looking forward to #4.

I am at my third five minute session; I fine the info something that has been said/heard before, but it’s coming across in/with a different way/meaning and is making more practical sense. I am looking for the correct application to my product line (check my website). I will stay tuned in, because the answer is there before my eyes, I just need to adjust my focus.

    Hi Tim,
This is a very well thought out way of making people
understand the viral principals you are teaching. It all fits together,1 step at a time, with an easy 5 minute session added in each time. I am looking forward to the rest.

Tim, your 3 part series sounded interesting but without a ‘play button’ I was never able to sample what you had to say. What’s up?

Having heard the saying “You should make $1 per subscriber per month” before, it’s great to see HOW to make this happen.

Great series, Thanks for this Tim !

I have had another spring day in the internet field because Tim was 5 minutes of it. I truly enjoy gaining knowledge from you, Tim. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me as well as with others. You put things in a way that I can clearly understand them.
