This is a useful little tool. Going to install today. What a great way of knowing how much traffic gets to a page quickly and easily ! Even if Alexa is not accurate, it would be a good indicator…

This looks a nifty little tool, but sadly it doesn’t work with vista. I would have thought that Alexa would have been more on the ball, and it just goes to show that even the big names can’t keep up with technology!

Take Alexa ranking swith a large teaspoon of salt. First of all, look at the disclaimers about 2/3 down this page:

http://www.alexa.com/site/help/traffic_learn_more

And then bear in mind that only a relatively small proportion of all web users use the Alexa toolbar – and they, IMHO, are probably not representative of WWW users in general.

Just remember: Alexa are marketing themselves & love to inflate their own importance :}

Only tool cannot do anything if you are into internet marketing. Internet marketing has its own importance than offline marketing. It need more effort including seo, article submission, press release submission, social networking websites, youtube anysource where you can get traffic. Every online business need more aggresive promotion because there is big competition in internet marketing world.
